We are increasingly vulnerable to wildlife diseases, such as West Nile virus and H5N1, an avian influenza, as we move further into wildlife habitat and wildlife adapts to suburban and city life. Diseases are making mainstream headlines that were once only the concern of wildlife managers and hunters.
